The Ultra Boost has gone through many iterations. The most recent of these, the 3.0, featured some weird stretch mark style pattern which, frankly, we think sucks. Not any more than the 2.0 gradient, which also sucked.
Long live the 1.0 in our eyes. In saying that however, we are blessed to see something truly reminiscent of those glorious Ultra Boost 1.0 in the next iteration due at the end of the year, the Ultra Boost 4.0. Featuring a mix of the original 1.0 arrow shape and the 3.0 parallel knitting, these look a good mix of comfortable and aesthetic. Leaked originally in Core Black and Mystery Grey colourways, we have a potential lineup sorted as you can see in the photo below.
We love throwing 3M flat laces on our black Ultra Boosts, and clean white flats on the greys. You can shop our entire Ultra Boost collection on the site - don't settle for those boring (too long) stock laces!
Our SMALL 36 inch laces were made for the Ultra Boost, so lace swap them in for the best look - try our Japanese Katakana laces that read "shoe laces for the brand with the three stripes" and rep that adidas goodness.
